TARDIVE DYSKINESIA
'Helping Families Regain Control'
Tardive dyskinesia is a movement disorder that affects a person’s ability to perform voluntary muscular movements. Tardive dyskinesia is often hard to diagnose, as its symptoms are similar to many other types of movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease and Tourette syndrome. Patients with tardive dyskinesia experience uncontrollable movements in certain muscles and an inability to remain motionless.
